Rolling into confidence, let’s create the life we deserve!

After becoming suddenly disabled in 2019 and struggling to come to terms as my life was turned upside down, I found joy through acceptance and recognising that disability is not a bad word.

I believe that while life with a disability isn’t without its challenges, the world needs to change to accommodate the needs of disabled people to enable us to fully participate in society, rather than disregarding a whole sector of humanity as somehow “less than”.

Humans are incredible. We are imperfect. We are strong. We are powerful. And we can change the world.

This is a show reel of Sandie Roberts - a queer, disabled human with short silver streaked hair and blue eyes. They are middle aged and mostly fabulous. The video showcases Sandie in various settings from model to advisor, speaker to content creator.

I can truly say, now, that I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I’m not broken, I’m beautifully imperfect. This journey has forged the woman I see reflected back at me in the mirror and I love her with all my heart.
